This business is a progressive full service commercial diving services company. Since our founding in 1997, we have kept pace with a rapid change in technological advancements in the art of commercial diving. Our company offers a unique package of services that have been developed to accommodate increased demand by state, federal and commercial agencies in having the condition of their waterfront facilities, bulkheads, bridges and waterways investigated, assessed and rehabilitated. Their services are specialized, and they perform many services, most of them I will list. During the past 23 years, they have performed numerous underwater inspections, condition assessments and rehabilitation designs on many waterfront facilities such as piers, wharfs, bulkheads, and structural platforms consisting of timber, concrete, and steel components. They have a long history of problem solving when it comes to coating issues in the marine industry. They are the only certified underwater applicator in the Southeastern U.S. of a coating product called Alocit, which is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Navy approved epoxy coating that is applied underwater by diver coating applicators. This coating is applied on structures ranging from ports, bridges, bulkheads, etc. began in 2004 and has extended to projects from New Orleans, LA all the way down to Ft. Lauderdale FL. Our diver coating applicators are certified by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) as coating inspectors. Alocit in many instances provides a 10 year guarantee from the manufacturer if applied by a certified applicator. CDS does certified underwater bridge inspections that are carried out by Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) certified bridge inspectors.
